Dan Silmore joins the online training software company as VP of Marketing
Palo Alto, Calif., January 24, 2011 – Mindflash.com, in its mission to provide the best online training software for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), today announced that Dan Silmore has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing. Silmore comes to Mindflash with extensive marketing experience in building brand awareness and growing customer and audience bases.

Before joining Mindflash, Silmore was the Senior Vice President of Product and Marketing at GigaOM, where he led product development, branding and advertising efforts, as well as their e-commerce and paid content programs. Prior to GigaOM, Silmore led marketing programs that contributed to the successful sale of two companies, AllBusiness.com, acquired by Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE:DNB), and CBS MarketWatch, acquired by Dow Jones. Previously, he also held positions as Director of Consumer Marketing at Medscape/CBS HealthWatch, and Vice President of e-Commerce Marketing at Wells Fargo.
